The Grady County School System consists of seven schools, Eastside Elementary School, Northside Elementary, Southside Elementary, all K-5 schools.  Shiver School and Whigham School are K-8 schools, Washington Middle School is 6-8 and Cairo High School is 9-12. Cairo high School is also a College and Career Academy.
